Practice makes perfect when it comes to skin camouflage... in just a few weeks, individuals can learn the process of colour mixing to match various skin tones. Hard to reach places can be challenging, please make sure someone can help you with the application. With Varama Cover Cream you can create the full range of skin tones; Starting with your lightest Base Colour, add the second Base Colour and you can create and smudge up to 30 shades. Transform your Base Colours by mixing in the Varama Drop in, and discover even more colours. In order to adapt your colour for seasonal skin tone variations and any changes (such as healing) more than one colour must be mixed. Skin Camouflage:Skin camouflage is suitable as long as there is a colour difference, so that the surrounding skin can be matched. Our work can help men, women and children with multiple variations of skin pigmentation through to minor discolourations on the face and body. There are many instances of patients requesting help for what may be considered ‘minor’ differences in the appearance of their skin. This raises the question of treatment suitability? With over 20 years of clinical skin camouflage experience and helping patients on a day to day basis, the rule of thumb must be to listen to the patient and be honest with realistic expectation, before treatment commences. The main goal is to help the patient feel more comfortable with his or her appearance. A thorough understanding of the patient's expectations in a professional clinical environment supports the decision making process between the patient and the practitioner and helps to arrive at a sensible outcome. Before:After: In this case, the gentleman requested help to camouflage the surgical scars between his face and his ears. The pale scars had healed well and were barely visible. Varama Cover Cream 1 was blended with the Rose Drop-in. A thin layer was sufficient to cover the scar tissue. His ideal view of his scars and the actual view of his scars were resolved very quickly. Our practical work was brief and in fact we did very little, but he said he felt much happier within himself and pleased that he had the choice to cover or not to cover.
